Kelvin Presson is the owner and operator of  SON Solar & Electric based in northwest Tennessee. He is a licensed electrician and certified by the North American Board of Energy Practitioners to install solar panel systems.

He graduated from the Solairgen school of Solar Technology and has have been installing solar panel systems for 5 years.

The license and certification is required for the Green Power Provider Program offer by the Tennessee Valley Authority. This is a 20 year contract between the solar panel customer and TVA. For a total of 20 years TVA buys back electricity from the solar panel customer at a fixed rate.

The battery backup systems are used for power outages and also to supplement the kilo-watt usage for your home or business. Commercial installations are elligible for a 25% grant toward the total cost of the system and also for the 30% tax credit both toward the cost of your system. Residential installations will receive the 30% tax credit toward the total cost of your system.

For the commercial and residential electrical business, Kelvin has been licensed for 11 years and doing electrical work that requires permits and inspections by the state. Also do electrical work that doesn't require permits or inspections. He has certified by EPA for installing, repairing and troubleshooting hvac systems.
